Message from the Principal

WELCOME PARENTS

Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year!

As the Principal of Thomas Jefferson, I look forward to working with all of you in an effort to see students succeed here at Thomas Jefferson.

The mission here at Thomas Jefferson is to provide “Academic Excellence for All”. To achieve this goal, students are expected to demonstrate character traits that “Respect the P.A.W.!”

P - Perseverance: The act of continuing to do something in spite of difficulties.

A - Attitude: A manner of acting, feeling, or thinking in a positive way.

W - Wise Choices: Doing the things you’re expected to do and owning your mistakes.

The middle school years are perhaps the most critical for our students. What happens during these years will have a lasting impression on their growth and development; academically, socially, and behaviorally. As Principal, my goal is to provide a school environment that is safe, welcoming, and respectful. By providing this type of school environment, students will be able to grow academically, socially, and behaviorally.

If there is anything we can assist you with, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the TJMS Office at (661) 758-7140.

Stay safe and “Respect the PAW!”

Respectfully,

Patrick Acosta
