Promotion/Ceremony Requirements for Wasco Union Elementary School District's Middle Schools

 The following promotion requirements have been adopted for a student to attend the graduation ceremony:

1. Required to have:
   1. 2.0 GPA in the 7th grade. If a student fails to meet this requirement, the student will be required to attend summer school if available. If a student does not complete summer successfully, she/he may be considered for retention.
   2. 2.0 GPA in the 8th grade. If a student fails to meet this requirement, the student will not participate in the graduation ceremony unless students successfully complete a Credit Recovery Program. The student may attend summer school and pick up her/his diploma.
2. Student must have been enrolled for a minimum of 25% of the instructional days in the Wasco Union Elementary School District.
3. Cannot have more than 5 active referrals per school year.
4. Student must not be absent from school more than 10% of enrolled school days.
5. Student cannot be assigned, for disciplinary reasons to ATS during the last 15 instructional days.

 If a student does not meet these requirements, he/she will not attend the graduation ceremony
